Anchor Annapoorna Lekha Pillai to Marry Music Composer Kailas Menon-Engagement Photos

Malayalam Television Anchor Annapoorna Lekha Pillai got engaged to  Music Director Kailas Menon on 19 October 2014 at Cochin, Kerala.

Annapoorna originally from Cherthala is a lawyer by profession. She anchored many shows in Malayalam channels including Asianet, Mazhavil Manorama and Kairali TV. She is currently working with Kairali  TV. Annapoorna graduated from Kerala Law Academy Law College, Trivandrum

Kailas Menon hails from Thrissur is music composer. He has scored music for more than 300 Ads (including jingles for noted brands such as Bhima Jewellery, Seematti Silks, RMKV Silks and Lulu etc), Short Films, Corporate videos, & a feature film named 'Pakarnnattam' directed by Jayaraj. He is currently Running a recording studio named Octaves in Chennai. He graduated in Visual Communications from SRM College, Chennai, and alongside, pursued a course in sound engineering from SAE Institute. Kailas Menon is the recipient of the Chennai Ad Club’s best jingle award for the years 2009 and 2011

Ningalkkum Aakaam Kodeeshwaran Season 3 (2014) Coming Soon On Asainet

Asianet has announced the launch of the next season of the popular quiz based show Ningalkkum Aakaam Kodeeshwaran (NAK). The show is primarily in the Malayalam language with translated English questions and is hosted by actor Suresh Gopi. The show offers contestants 1 Crore (10 million) Indian rupees if they answer all 15 questions correctly.

The season 1 of the show was from 9 April 2012 to 23 August 2012.The Second season ended on Second Season was from 4 March 2013 to 18 July 2013.

 The lunch date and  audition details of Ningalkkum Aakaam Kodeeshwaran 3 is not yet announced by Asianet. But the season 3 in 2014 will also be hosted by Actor Suresh Gopi.

Actress Surabhi Lekshmi Married Vipin Sudhakar- Photos

Actress Surabhi Lekshmi Married Vipin Sudhakar on 19 October 2014 (19-10-2014) at Sree Guruvayoorappan Temple in Thrissure in Kerala.  The wedding ceremony was attended by close relatives, friends and colleagues.
Subrabhi Menon is very popular as the character Pathumma, wife of Moosa, in Media One serial M80 Moosa. Her unique sound and dialogue delivery in Caliccut accent were noted by the audience soon. Surabhi hails from Kozhikodu is a trained dancer and theatre artist. She has acted in more than 20 Malayalam Films, advertisements and Malyalam Serials. She portrayed a main character in   K.K. Rajeev's malayalam serial Kathayile Rajakumari. Currently She is acting as Pathumma in a television serial M80 Moosa on Media One .

Vipin Sudhakar is a cinematographer from Thalikkulam in Thrippayar

Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone in Deepavil Special Episode of Onnum Onnum Moonu on Mazhavil Manorama

Mazhvil Manorama is going to telecast a special Episode of Onnum Onnum Moonnu associated with Deepavali celebrations. Onnum Onnum Moonu is a popular the chat show hosted by Rimi Tomy. The special guests of the episode are the Bolywood stars Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone.  Both of them are currently promoting their new movie 'Happy New Year' which is going to be released on 24 October 2014.

Mahabharatham: Last Episode of malayalam serial aired on 16 October 2014 on Asianet

The climax episode of the popular malayalam epic serial Mahabharatham will be telecasted on 16 October 2014 at 6.30 PM. This will be the 267 th episode of the serial.

The serial was well built with colorful sets, a good cast and crew and direction. Actors and Actress of Mahabharatham Serial became very popular among audiences.

Final episode of Mahabharatham Serial showed the coronation of Youdhishtiran as the King of Hasthinapur after the end of Kurukshethra War.

Knowing that  Krishna is going to place crown on Yudhistira’s head,  Gandhari, the mother of Kauravas,  curses him for playing a key role in the death of her 100 sons and allowing the destructive war to happen and for. She declares that even Krishna’s clan, Yadavas will be wiped off Earth in a similar way. Krishnan accepts the curse and consoles Gandhari. Krishna says the whole Aryavartha is united due to this war and the people over the region will have the same rule and justice.  He also added that till the end of humanity, people with rember the story of Mahabharatham and the lesson it provides -the victory of Dharma over Adharma.The serial ends with the crowning of samrat Yundhishira with Draupathi on his side as the Queen of the empire.

 A new serial  Karuthamuthu  will be launched on 20 th October 2014 at 630 PM and take the time slot of Mahabharatham.

Karutha Muthu -New Malayalam TV Serial on Asianet | First Episode on 20 October 2014 at 10 PM

Karuthamuthu is a new malayalam television serial going to be telecasted on Asianet TV soon. The first episode of this malayalam serial will be aired on 20 October 2014 at 10 PM.  The final Episode of Mahabharatham Serial was telecasted on 16 October 2014 on Asianet Television. So there is a change in the telecast time of the serials. Karutha Muthu will take the time slot of Kailasanathan serial which is telecasted every Monday to Saturday at 10 PM. Kailasanthan will be aired at 1030 PM. Hathim Veeragatha will be aired at 6.00 PM

Vodafone Thakadhimi on Asianet | Dance Reality show


Asianet TV's Thakadhimi sponsored by Vodafone was one of the first and popular dance reality show in Malayalam television. The first Season of this dance-based talent hunt and reality show on Asianet was held in 2007-2008 for participants in the age group 15- 30 years.

 Out of 10000 applications received from many Indian cities and foreign countries,only 70 candidates were selected. In the audition round, each participant has been given three performances and they are selected or put on the waiting list, on the spot according to their performance. After the first round of auditions only 36 candidates were selected for the next rounds by the jury comprised of Vineeth (famous actor and dancer), Gopika Varma (dancer and Mohiniyattam expert) and Lakshmi Gopalaswamy (dancer and actress). Playback singer Anoop Shanker and Aishwrya Ajit hosted the show.


 Vodafone Thakadhimi on Asianet was launched on 13 October 2007 at 830 PM. Inauguration of the show was done by the judges. The dance show was aired every Saturdays and Sunday at 830 PM. To test the dancing prowess of the contestants in areas such as choreography, expressions, technical and artistic aspects, various rounds such as classical, semi-classical, cinematic, rap, ‘Dance with a star’ were made.

The grand finale of the show was held on 22 June, 2008. Along with the permanent judges, Brinda master was one of the judges in its final.  Famous actress Jayapura was the chief guest of the show. The winners of the show were announced by Jayaprada. Gayathri Govind from Trivandrum won the prestigious Asianet Vodafone Thakadhimi in its Mega final . The dancer won a fabulous prize worth rupees 45 lakhs.  Akhila Sasidharan, Jobin George and Sarath Nair won the second, third and fourth places, respectively. Gaythri faced maximum challenge from Akhila, who was the favourite of many people. The mark difference between them was just one mark. The marks were 59.25/70, 58.25/70, 54/70 and 44.25/70 for Gayathri, Akhila Sasidharan, Jobin George and Sarath Nair, respectively. The details are given below.
